Comics day à Vilnius sera le premier festival international de la BD en Lituanie.

Comics days in Vilnius is the first international comics festival in Lithuania that seeks to join the professionals of domain from Lithuania and foreign countries. Our goal is to promote the development and the recognition of comics in Lithuania.

In Lithuania, comics just started taking their path through since the country does not have a comics tradition. We have few publishing houses that specializes in comics, graphic novel and zines edition as well as the popularization of the comics culture. Although the workshops for children and adults are rare throughout the country, there are a lot of people interested in this medium. Thanks to gifted local artists comics become more known to Lithuanians.
