The ÉESI welcomes international exchange students from its partner institutions for a period of one to two semesters.
Exchange application procedure for incoming students

For the fourth year in Poitiers
Exchange students are exempt from registration fees, in accordance with the bilateral agreements established with their home institution.
They are integrated into the regular academic program, either at the undergraduate level (3 years leading to the Diplôme National d’Art, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree), starting from the second year, or at the graduate level (2 years leading to the Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique, equivalent to a Master’s degree).
They have access to all the academic resources available to enrolled students, with the exception of diploma preparation courses (DNA and DNSEP).
As such, third-year students wishing to participate in the exchange program at ÉESI during the second semester will take second-year courses. These arrangements do not affect the validation of credits (30 ECTS per semester), as students will follow educational offerings within the same academic track.
Recognition of study exchange
The learning agreement (OLA) created in collaboration with the incoming student, their home institution, and the ÉESI enables the prior specification of the academic year, location, course list, and the number of ECTS the student is required to validate.
Incoming students have the option to modify their learning agreement upon arrival at the school, in consultation with their home institution.
At the end of the mobility period, a transcript of records (TOR) detailing the validated ECTS and the student’s attendance dates will be sent to the partner institution.
